Gala Day Trials Day 2
Date: 13th February
Time: Morning session only
Students will have the exciting opportunity to try out for various sports teams to participate in Gala Day. Those who make the teams will represent our school in the Gala Day competition. Students not selected for Gala Day teams can still join school sports sessions to practice and enjoy playing together. Join us for a morning full of sport, teamwork, and fun!
Adopt-A-Book Fundraiser
Date: Week 4 and 5
Location: School Library
Time: Lunchtime
Cost: $1 per book
We are excited to announce our Adopt-a-Book Fundraiser! Browse our book sale in the school library during lunchtime and pick out some beloved books to take home for just $1 each. All funds raised will go towards purchasing new books for our school library. Give a well-loved book a new home and help us build our library collection!
Meet the Teacher Afternoon
Date: 18th February
Time: 3:30 – 4:30pm
Families are warmly invited to our Meet the Teacher afternoon. This is a great opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher, learn about the curriculum for the year, and discuss strategies to support your child’s learning and wellbeing. We look forward to welcoming you and working together for a positive school year!
Swimming Carnival Competition
Date: 24th February
The school will be holding its Swimming Carnival Competition to select representatives who will proudly compete for our school at the upcoming Zone Swimming Championships. Students are encouraged to participate and showcase their swimming skills for a chance to be part of the school team.
Three-Way Conversations: Learning Goals
Date: 10th March
Students, parents, and teachers will come together for meaningful conversations focused on setting and reviewing students' learning goals. This collaborative discussion aims to support each student’s progress and success throughout the year.
NAPLAN Assessment
Date: 11th – 23rd March
Good luck to our Year 3 and Year 5 students who will be completing the NAPLAN assessments during this period. These tests are an important part of monitoring student progress in literacy and numeracy. We wish our students all the best!
Cross Country
Date: 31st March
Stage 2 and Stage 3 students will participate in the Cross Country event. We wish all students the best of luck as they take on this exciting challenge and represent our school with pride!
Easter Hat Parade
Date: 2nd April
Kindergarten to Year 2 students will take part in a joyful Easter Parade, celebrating the season with colourful costumes and creative decorations.
