- Public speaking and debating
- Lunchtime and interest-based clubs
- Student leadership opportunities.

Our students take part in activities that bring learning to life. These experiences build confidence, skills and real-world understanding.
Our co-curricular highlights

SJPPS Lion Dance Troupe
Our unique Lion Dance program introduces children to a dynamic cultural tradition, fostering community, teamwork, and respect for heritage. Through weekly training sessions, students develop discipline, coordination, and confidence while enjoying creative self-expression and building lasting friendships.
Our Lion Dance program offers students the exciting opportunity to engage with the community by participating in events like the Children's Festival, Lunar New Year Festival, and at other local schools.

Debating and public speaking
Each year, our debating team participate in the NSW Public Schools interschool debating competition and the Premier's Debating Competition. Also, each year we have students selected to represent our school in the NSW Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition.
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.

Sport
Our sport programs, including PSSA Gala Day competitions, cross country, our annual athletics and swimming carnivals provide students with the chance to showcase their athletic talents, promote teamwork, and foster a lifelong love of physical activity.

Creative and performing arts
Students can join our drama, choir and dance programs which provide a wonderful opportunity for students to express themselves and build confidence. They showcase their talent and hard work at our annual school Multicultural Day and Drama Club Production.
